THE KOJO DIFFERENCE

A PRO FEEL & A PERSONAL TOUCH

Stage center on all of our tours is you. We focus 100% not only on your safety but also your comfort and care, so you can pedal without a worry. When you join us you become a part of the family, and when we plan these tours, we do so as if we are going to be out riding with old friends. The devil, as they say, is in the detail, and and that’s where we focus.

deposits that last a lifetime

If you get in touch with us no later than 60 days before the start of the tour, we will guarantee your initial deposit for life. No penalty, no hassle, just keep it with us and get back to us when you are good to go, and we will book you on the tour of your choice.

The spirit of adventure

We remember like it was yesterday that moment we first fell in love with the bike, and we remember when we last fell in love with the bike - it was during our last ride! At KOJO, we feel that the bike connects this you to that you, the same little kid. At the heart of all of our tours is the same spirit of adventure and a strong desire to share with others the amazing places we’ve been to and the routes we’ve ridden.

14 DAY RISK-FREE BOOKING WINDOW

We offer the rare opportunity to change your mind if you’ve booked and then have second thoughts. Similarly, if you cannot get the time off work or if there are personal issues that might prevent you from making the tour, no problem. Simply cancel within two weeks of the initial booking for a full refund.

RESPECT FOR EVERYONE

Positivity is key for us and it goes hand in hand with respect for everyone we meet, interact with and work with. Inclusivity, not exclusivity. We bring to KOJO the exact same principles in this regard that we have in our daily lives. We are passionate about what we do and we do our best to motivate and encourage. We ride, we smile, we do it again, and we do it together.

AN ONLINE CALL FOR ALL

After initial contact by email, we will then set up a face-2-face call online. This is an important part of the process for us, as it gives us a chance to get to know you, and vice versa. It gives us an idea of your cycling level and for you provides the opportunity to ask any and all Qs you may have - none are too small.

TO AFFECT & BE AFFECTED

We are often encouraged to be, and strive to be, effective, whether it’s on a journey by car or in getting a task completed. Nobody wants to waste time, after all. We understand that and we also try to be effective in the initial planning of our tours and in the way logistics are dealt with.

But effectivity is not our obsession. Instead, at the heart of what we do is a deep desire to be affective. We are on a journey, personally and collectively, and for us it the building of relationships and memories that inspires us. We don’t fret over the quickest way from A to B - we will reach B eventually, we hope!

What we want to see and know is what that journey to B felt like. Were you inspired? Did you find an energy you thought had left you? Did you experience warmth and understanding from your companions? Did you have any interactions with the locals, and if so what did you learn?

One of the meanings of こうじょう - KOJO - in Japanese is: to have an affect upon.

This is our force, the magnetism that pulls us all together; to have an affect upon, and to be affected, in turn, by all of you.
